Our history

The CESAREE company was founded in 1980. The jewelry designer, Laurence COUPELON, inherited from her parents Richard Coupelon, architect, and Tita Coupelon, decorator, great art lovers, a strong attraction to Asia.

Her constantly evolving creations range from raw ethnic inspiration to characterful “couture” jewelry, which combines natural materials with bronzed or silver metal. Their originality and their “legacy” have made CESAREE not only a name but also a very recognizable style which places us as the reference in ethnic jewelry in the world of fashion.

Since our beginnings, our unique style has seduced all fashion editors. Our jewelry has been the subject, for years, of numerous articles and very beautiful editorial publications throughout the women's press (Vogue, L'Officiel, Le Figaro Madame, Air France Madame, Elle, Marie-Claire, Be, Grazia , Gala, Citizen K., Cosmopolitan...). They are also present in decoration magazines such as Côté Sud, Côté Ouest, Elle deco.... They also appear in the cinema, notably in the films of François Ozon, or even in television programs such as Télé Matin,.. .

Our style and our jewelry have often given us the opportunity to collaborate closely with great couturiers: Nino Cerruti, Michel Klein, Agnès B, Cacharel, Kenzo... and Sonia Rykiel with whom we worked for around ten years .

Our creations are also chosen by many French and foreign artists (Emmanuelle Béart, Claudia Schiffer, Françoise Xénakis, Agnès Varda, Arielle Dombasle, Marianne James, Marisa Bérenson, Patricia Kaas, Jodie Foster, Andréa Ferréol, Danièle Thompson...) but also personalities from Gotha like Mouna Ayoub, Farah Diba, Tracey Amon or Rafaela Aponte...

Faced with the growing success of its creations, CESAREE opened a beautiful boutique in Paris in 1996 in the emblematic district of Saint-Germain des Prés.
